Do I need to purchase my broadband from PDI, or can I use my own?

If you already have broadband services at your store locations, you do not need to purchase broadband from PDI. If you do not already have broadband services, PDI offers reliable, managed, and affordable access services such as DSL, Cable, and 3G/4G.

Is this solution PCI-compliant?

Yes, PDI is a PCI DSS Certified Solution Provider and a member of the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. The PDI Solution addresses a wide range of PCI DSS requirements and simplifies your overall compliance efforts.

Does this solution support other restaurant applications such as loyalty programs?

Yes, third-party applications, such as digital video surveillance and inventory management, can continue to function as they currently do on your existing broadband connection. Or they can be incorporated into part of the PDI Solution. Ask your PDI sales representative about securing your other applications.

What is the maintenance policy for the solution?

The PDI Solution includes next-business-day replacement of any failed equipment via overnight delivery.

What should I do if credit cards are not processing?

Your existing support process remains the same. In the event that card payments are not processing, first call the Kahala Brands Help Desk at 877-811-3811. Or call PDI at 866-429-2372.

How is my service installed?

You can quickly and easily self-install the PDI Solution with the assistance of the Kahala Brands Help Desk. A typical installation takes 30 minutes to one hour. Optional integration of other third-party applications can occur at any time after that, and the time for that integration will vary.
